Self Report (Lapor Diri)
All Indonesian citizens residing in Gambia should declare their presence to support diplomatic registry databases
- Requirements:
- Fill out an embassy form.
- Passport-sized photo (1 sheet)
- A valid Indonesian passport.
Indonesian Passport Reissue
Issuance of Ordinary Indonesian Passports for citizens residing locally whose books have reached expiration limits.
- Requirements:
- Fill out the passport application form (obtained at the Embassy)
- Three (3) colored photographs (passport size)
- Old passport (original)
- A copy of old passport pages
- Residential permit in the local country (Gambia)
Passport for Indonesian Children
Granted to children born abroad from parent(s) holding Indonesian citizenship who do not possess independent travel books.
- Requirements:
- Fill out the Passport application form (obtained at the Embassy)
- Copy of the parent's passport concerned.
- Copy of birth certificate of child
- Three (3) passport-sized photographs of child (white background)
SPLP Emergency Document
The Travel Letter Like Passport (Surat Perjalanan Laksana Paspor) serves as a legal substitute document.
- When SPLP is given:
- In urgent circumstances, such as illness.
- For repatriation to Indonesia.
- Losing Ordinary Passports.
- Note: In case of loss, you must attach a First Investigation Report (FIR) from the local Police Station.
Marriage Registry & Legalization Abroad
Ensure that marriage ceremonies conducted within Gambia are fully recognized in the Republic of Indonesia.
- Required Documents for Setup:
- License / permission of parent/guardian of both brides
- A letter from the local area stating both brides are unmarried
- Passport and copy of second passport of the bride
- Certificate from the RI Representative stating no objection (No Objection Certificate)
- Registration Steps & Rules:
- The Marriage Letter issued by the local Marriage Institute can be legalized by Consular officials at the Embassy
- Marriage Books can only be obtained from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (KUA) / Directorate of Consular Affairs
- Critical Rule: Within 1 year after returning to Indonesia, you must register the marriage at KUA or the Civil Registry Office
